Return Station V3 — Quick Reference (SRS)
Effective August 3, 2026 · The return station runs on the tablet at the return point. New in V3: it now works offline.

Section titled “Return a container”- Scan the container with the camera, or tap it if the station has a reader attached.
- You’ll see “Container returned successfully” right away.
New in V3 — Offline mode
Section titled “New in V3 — Offline mode”The return station now keeps working even when the internet is down.
- Returns still register instantly — staff and reusers see the success confirmation as normal.
- Each return is saved on the tablet and a “N pending” badge (top-right) shows how many are waiting to upload.
- When the connection comes back, pending returns upload automatically — you don’t need to do anything. You can also tap the badge to upload now.
- Restarting the tablet won’t lose anything that’s pending.
If the pending count doesn’t clear after the tablet has been back online for a while, let your Reusables representative know.
